Van Andel Venue review
The staff at DTE in Clarkston blow the Van Andel staff out of the water. As a business, you are going to lose business if you do not do something about the concession stands. I attend a minimum of 5-7 concerts at the Van Andel every year. Prior to the Mariachi El Bronx concert, my husband and I were 8th in line to be served. The customer at the front of the line waited a minimum of 15 minutes because the senior citizen running the cash register was clueless. I also drive to the DTE in Clarkston. The 2nd largest bar in the 120's section had 2 senior citizens behind the counter. A smaller set up (had popcorn, pretzels, and beer) had 4 people behind the cash register and they were literally bumping into each other because the area was so small. I spend a lot of money yearly at the Van Andel. Other people in line were complaining about the same thing. It wasn't a case of "they had an off night" as it's like that every single time.
